Terms for a
practical digital product.

These terms apply to purchases from Stillbench.com, based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Effective September 18, 2026.

Product and price

The Stillbench Costing & Proofing Toolkit is a downloadable digital package containing an Excel workbook, PDF Quick Start Guide, README and licence. The promotional price is $39 CAD plus any taxes shown at checkout. The promotional price may be changed or withdrawn for future purchases without advance notice.

Compatibility

The workbook is supplied as an unencrypted, macro-free .xlsx file designed for current desktop versions of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365. Features and formatting are not guaranteed in Google Sheets, Apple Numbers, LibreOffice or other spreadsheet applications. Customers should confirm that they can use .xlsx files before purchasing.

Payment and delivery

Payment is processed by Stripe. After successful payment, Stillbench sends a delivery email to the address entered at checkout. The private link is normally sent promptly, expires after seven days and permits up to five downloads. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder and contact support@stillbench.com for delivery assistance.

Licence

One purchase licenses the Toolkit to one purchasing business for use by its owners, employees and contractors working for that business. Reasonable internal working and backup copies are permitted. Resale, public posting, sublicensing, redistribution and sharing outside the purchasing business are prohibited.

Refunds

Because the Toolkit is a digital product delivered immediately, purchases are generally final once delivery has occurred. Stillbench will assist with missing or defective files and may replace or correct them. Refunds remain available where required by applicable law, including applicable rights relating to non-delivery or required contract information. Contact support@stillbench.com with the purchase email and a description of the issue.

Planning estimates and responsibility

The Toolkit and free calculators provide planning estimates and record-keeping aids. They do not replace calibrated measurements, professional accounting, tax or legal advice, regulatory forms or the customer's own verification. Customers remain responsible for production, excise, tax, labelling, safety and other requirements that apply to their operation.

Warranty and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Toolkit is provided without guarantees that it will meet every business or regulatory need. Stillbench is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from its use. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Questions, delivery problems and refund requests may be sent to support@stillbench.com.
